My name is Mark Talbot Buys (Talbot) and I am a senior offensive tackle for the Porters Chapel Academy Eagles in Vicksburg, MS. I dream of playing football at the next level and believe I would be a asset to any team. At 6'8" and 260 pounds I have the frame and ability to play college football. Talbot Buys has signed to play football this fall with the Bulldogs of Holmes Community College. Talbot will compete for a starting spot on the offensive line and could see some time at long snapper.

Tuesday, March 6, 2012 - On his way to recording his first career no-hitter, Buys did not allow a ball out of the infield and struck out 5 batters in a row as PCA down Veritas 16-0. The Eagles improved to 4-2 with the win.

PCA standout basketball player Talbot Buys,  was one of four Eagles selected to the MAIS All-Star basketabll game. Buys is a 6'8" center that dominated  in the paint for PCA all season long.

Talbot buys was selected to the 2011 All-Area team for his play at offensive tackle. The all area team includes high schools in west central Mississippi.

The football coaches of MAIS District 4A selected Talbot Buys as the 2011 Most Valuable Player (MVP) at the lineman position. Talbot earned the honor while playing offensive tackle, long snapper and tight end for the Porters Chapel Eagles.

Talbot Buys has been selected to represent Porters Chapel as a member of the South squad in the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools All-star game. The game will be played on the campus of Mississippi College on December 2, 2011. Game time is 4:00 pm.
